poem song (in spanish)
slowly
you changed our lives
as the sun changes the seasons,
almost imperceptibly
things started to change color,
the voices at home
became warmer,
the smiles breezier
and the lullabies and songs
began to find their place
in every nook and cranny.
slowly,
we ceased to awaken
to the sun in our window,
almost inadvertently
our dreams awakened
over the railings of your crib,
softly,
it was your tiny eyes that greeted our mornings
you changed our lives
as the moon changes each night,
almost without knowing why
our friends became more human,
more tender,
our hands more gentle
and a certain scent of family
permeated the house,
like the fragrance of lime blossom
when libardo starts bearing fruits.
slowly.
we feel that you have become a root
that has taken hold in our lives,
softly.
we feel you have become a feather,
a white wing,
a blue bird,
almost imperceptibly
I am not the same
nor am I anyone else,
I walk in silence
and the air escapes from my hands
when I speak your name.
you changed our lives
as the sun changes the seasons…
